Mercedes-Benz Servicing and Repairs Norwich
A and C-Class from the city, E-Class and GLC from the villages, Vitos and Sprinters from the trades: serviced to the ASSYST schedule and repaired without the three-pointed price tag.
Mercedes-Benz builds cars that last if they are looked after, and dealership pricing is the reason many owners stop looking after them properly. We service Mercedes to the ASSYST schedule, alternating the A and B services the car asks for, with the correct MB-approved oil and OEM-specification or genuine parts, and we repair the things that turn up on them: AdBlue and DPF faults on the BlueTEC diesels, brake wear on heavy cars, suspension components, cooling system and electrical faults, and the MO-marked tyres most of them specify. A and B-Class hatchbacks, C and E-Class saloons and estates, GLA, GLB, GLC and GLE SUVs, and the Vito and Sprinter vans that keep Norwich moving.
ASSYST: A Service, B Service and What Is Due
Mercedes' ASSYST system alternates a smaller A service and a larger B service, roughly annually, and adds the longer-interval items, brake fluid, air and fuel filters, spark plugs, transmission service, when their own intervals fall due. Servicing a Mercedes properly means reading what the car has scheduled, doing exactly those items with oil that carries the MB approval sheet the engine specifies, and confirming the service in the system so the record is right. We do that, and we tell you what the next visit will involve so there are no surprises.
Servicing a Mercedes-Benz with us keeps the manufacturer warranty intact. What the warranty requires is that the service is done at the specified interval, to the specified schedule, with parts and oil of the specified grade, and that it is recorded. We do all of that, reset the reminder and hand you a dated, itemised invoice with the mileage on it. Keep the invoices with the car; they are worth money when you sell it.
The Mercedes Jobs We Do Most
- AdBlue and DPF faults on BlueTEC diesels: NOx sensors, AdBlue heaters and injectors, DPF regeneration on cars that only do short trips. Diagnosed and explained; see diesel repairs.
- Brakes: Mercedes are heavy and brake hard; pads, discs and the electronic parking brake serviced correctly.
- Suspension: control arms, bushes and drop links, and honest advice on the older models with air suspension.
- Automatic gearbox service: the 7G and 9G-Tronic boxes have a fluid and filter interval that keeps them shifting properly; see gearbox repair.
- Cooling, electrical and sensor faults read with equipment that covers Mercedes' systems; see diagnostics.

MO and MOE Tyres
Mercedes specifies MO-marked tyres on most models and MOE (extended mobility run-flats) on some. The approved version is developed for the car's suspension and stability control, and on a heavy saloon or SUV the difference from a standard tyre is noticeable. We check the sidewall, confirm the approval and quote Continental, Pirelli, Michelin or Bridgestone in the right specification, or a mid-range alternative where the budget calls for it. See performance tyres.
Can an independent garage do a Mercedes A or B service? Yes. We read what ASSYST has scheduled, carry out those items with MB-approved oil and correct-specification parts, and confirm the service in the system so the record is right and the warranty unaffected.
Vito and Sprinter
Mercedes vans are some of the hardest-worked vehicles in Norfolk and among the most expensive at a dealership. We service Vitos and Sprinters to the schedule, handle brakes, clutches, dual mass flywheels, suspension and AdBlue faults, and fit commercial tyres with the correct load rating, with early drop-off and fast turnaround. See van servicing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can an independent garage do a Mercedes A or B service?
Yes. We read what ASSYST has scheduled, carry out those items with MB-approved oil and correct-specification parts, and confirm the service in the system so the record is right and the warranty unaffected.
What is the difference between a Mercedes A and B service?
The A service is the smaller annual one (oil, filter, checks); the B service is larger and adds items like the cabin filter and brake fluid. The car alternates them and adds other intervals as they fall due.
Do I need MO-marked tyres?
Not legally, but Mercedes developed the MO version for the car and on a heavy saloon or SUV the standard tyre can ride differently. We tell you what your car specifies and quote both.
My Mercedes has an AdBlue warning with a countdown. Is it urgent?
Yes. If the countdown reaches zero the car will not restart. It is usually a sensor, heater or injector fault rather than empty AdBlue; we diagnose it promptly.
Do you service Sprinters and Vitos?
Yes, servicing, brakes, clutches, AdBlue and diesel faults and commercial tyres, with early drop-off so the van is back quickly.
