Built around holding on to performance as the tyre wears, which tends to make them last well. Supplied and fitted at our Ber Street garage, seven days a week.
Michelin's engineering pitch is longevity - tyres designed to still perform when they are worn, not just when they are new. For high-mileage drivers that often makes them cheaper over the life of the tyre even though they cost more on the day.
The Primacy range is Michelin's comfort and longevity line for saloons, estates and family cars. Pilot Sport is the performance family, widely fitted as original equipment on sports and premium models. CrossClimate is the all-season range and is worth singling out: it carries the three-peak mountain snowflake winter marking while still behaving like a summer tyre in normal conditions, which suits the British climate better than most.
The consistent theme across the range is wear behaviour. A tyre that has lost most of its wet performance by the time it reaches 3mm is a false economy if you are covering serious mileage, and this is the specific problem Michelin design against. If you commute the A11 or A47 daily, that is worth more than the headline price.
Michelin also produce manufacturer-approved variants carrying sidewall markings for several makes. Where your car calls for one, we will fit the correct version. If you are not sure what your car needs, read the sidewall of the tyre you already have or give us the registration and we will work it out for you.
Michelin sizes for family cars and estates are common enough that same-day is often possible, and CrossClimate fitments are worth planning before winter rather than after it. Call with your size or registration and we will confirm.
We fit Michelin on the same equipment and to the same torque settings as everything else we do, with computer balancing on every wheel. Most single-tyre fittings take 20 to 30 minutes and a full set around an hour. There is free parking on site and a waiting area, and we are open Monday to Saturday 8:00am to 6:00pm and Sunday 10:00am to 4:00pm.
We are not tied to any one manufacturer. If Michelin is not the right answer for your car, your mileage or your budget, we will say so and show you the alternatives - including quality mid-range options and our safety-checked part worn tyres. Every fitting is backed by our 3-month / 3,000-mile workmanship guarantee.
Worth doing at the same time: if your old tyres wore unevenly, a wheel alignment check will stop the new set going the same way. And if you have picked up a nail rather than worn the tyre out, a puncture repair may be all you need.

It depends entirely on your mileage. Michelin design around retaining performance as the tyre wears, so on a high-mileage car the cost per mile often works out lower than a cheaper tyre replaced sooner. On a low-mileage second car that will age out before it wears out, a mid-range tyre is usually the more sensible buy - and we will tell you so.
CrossClimate is Michelin's all-season tyre. It carries the three-peak mountain snowflake winter marking but drives like a normal summer tyre the rest of the year. For Norfolk - cold, wet, rarely properly snowy - it removes the need for a seasonal tyre swap and is a genuinely practical option for most drivers.
