Accelera Tyres Norwich
Indonesian budget brand with a big following in drift and grassroots motorsport. Supplied to order and fitted at our Ber Street garage, seven days a week.
Accelera is an Indonesian brand, made by EP Tyres, that has become a fixture in grassroots motorsport and drifting because its 651 Sport offers a semi-slick at a budget price. It also makes ordinary road tyres. Accelera comes in to order, usually next working day, and goes on at Ber Street with the same care as any premium tyre.
The Accelera Range, and Who It Suits
651 Sport is the track and drift tyre that made the name; PHI and PHI-R are the performance road patterns; Iota ST68 covers SUVs; X-Grip is the winter tyre and Eco Plush the economy pattern. Accelera's road tyres are budget products and should be judged on the EU label like any other.
If you are running a drift or track car and asking for 651s by name, we will fit them with the pressures and orientation right. For a daily driver, we will show you the label and the alternatives.
Accelera at a glance
| Accelera range | Best for |
|---|---|
| 651 Sport | track and drift, road legal |
| PHI / PHI-R | performance road |
| Iota ST68 | SUVs |
| X-Grip | winter |
| Eco Plush | economy |
What You Get at This Price
For the road patterns, the EU label is the comparison and it is a budget one. For the 651 Sport the honest comparison is cost per track day against a Nankang NS-2R or a Toyo R888R, and we can talk that through. The registration is enough for us to look up what your car requires; the sidewall of the outgoing tyre confirms it.

Popular Accelera Sizes

Accelera and the EU Tyre Label
The EU tyre label is the only fair way to judge a budget tyre. Two Accelera patterns in the same size can grade differently on wet grip, and a budget tyre with a C grade can beat an unknown brand's E by a car length in a wet stop. We show you the label for the exact tyre beside the nearest mid-range option and let you decide.
How Accelera Fitting Works Here
Call with your size
Or the registration. We quote premium to budget with the EU label for each.
Fitted the same day
New valve, computer balanced, torqued by hand, old tyre disposed of.
Checked before you leave
Pressures set, the other three looked at, alignment advised if the old tyre wore unevenly.
Fitting Accelera Tyres at Ber Street
Accelera is usually a next-working-day order; specific 651 Sport compounds can take longer. Call with the size and we will confirm before you book.
A Accelera goes on exactly as a Michelin or a part worn does: new valve or TPMS service kit, mounted without touching the rim, balanced on the computer wheel balancer, torqued by hand to the manufacturer's figure and the old tyre disposed of. Budget half an hour for one tyre and about an hour for four, with free parking and somewhere to wait. We are open seven days, 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
You are choosing a tyre, not a badge. Where Accelera suits the car and the budget we fit it gladly; where something else would serve you better we will show you the alternative and the label that proves it. All our workmanship is guaranteed for 3 months or 3,000 miles.
Uneven wear on the outgoing tyres is the car telling you something, usually about alignment or a worn suspension component, and it is cheaper to fix before the new Accelera set starts wearing the same way. And if the damage is a nail or screw in the central tread, our puncture repair may save you the tyre altogether.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you fit Accelera 651 Sport tyres in Norwich?
Yes, seven days a week at Ber Street. Accelera is ordered in for you, usually next working day. Call 07933 900901 with the size or the registration and we will confirm and book.
Are Accelera tyres road legal?
Yes. The 651 Sport is a road-legal semi-slick but it is a track tyre first and is not a sensible everyday tyre in a British winter.
Are Accelera road tyres any good?
They are budget tyres. We show you the EU label for the exact pattern so you can compare wet grip and noise against mid-range options.
Can you fit Accelera tyres on a Sunday?
Yes. We are open Sunday 10am to 4pm as well as Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm. Because Accelera is ordered in, call on the Saturday or earlier so the tyre is here for your Sunday slot.
