Eurovis Sport 04 is the performance summer tyre, Eurovis HP02 the everyday pattern, N'Blue Eco the efficiency tyre, Eurovis Alpine the winter range and Roadian the SUV and van family. Many Roadstone patterns are close relatives of Nexen products.

The EU tyre label is the only fair way to judge a budget tyre. Two Roadstone patterns in the same size can grade differently on wet grip, and a budget tyre with a C grade can beat an unknown brand's E by a car length in a wet stop. Roadstone reaches us through Nexen's UK network, normally the next working day. Call with the size or registration and we will confirm before you set off.

The Roadstone is mounted on the same machine and to the same standard as a premium tyre: rim inspected, new valve, tyre seated without lubricant on the bead that would let it creep, balanced to zero, wheel torqued by hand. Expect 20 to 30 minutes per tyre, an hour for four. Free parking, seven days a week, Sundays 10am to 4pm.

No manufacturer pays us to push its tyres. If a different brand suits your car better than Roadstone, or a good part worn makes more sense for an older car, we will tell you and show you the EU labels side by side. Whatever goes on, the fitting carries our 3-month / 3,000-mile workmanship guarantee.

New tyres are a good moment for a four-wheel alignment if the old ones wore on one edge, and for a look at the other three tyres and the brakes while the wheels are off. If it is a nail rather than wear that brought you in, ask about a puncture repair first; it is often all the tyre needs.
