One of the most common original-equipment fitments on cars sold in the UK. Supplied and fitted at our Ber Street garage, seven days a week.
Bridgestone is one of the world's largest tyre manufacturers and one of the brands you are most likely to find fitted to your car from the factory. If your vehicle came on Bridgestones and you want to keep it that way, we supply and fit them at our Ber Street workshop, seven days a week.
Bridgestone's core road ranges split fairly cleanly. The Turanza family is aimed at comfort and quiet running on saloons, estates and family hatchbacks - the sort of tyre you notice mainly because you stop noticing road noise. The Potenza range sits at the performance end, with stiffer construction and a focus on dry grip and steering response for hot hatches and sports saloons. Alenza covers larger SUVs and 4x4s, where load rating and stability matter more than outright sharpness.
Because Bridgestone supplies so many manufacturers directly, a great many cars on Norfolk roads are running them as their original fitment. Staying with the tyre your car was developed around is rarely a bad decision - the suspension tuning, stability control calibration and even the steering feel were signed off with that tyre on the car.
Bridgestone produce manufacturer-approved versions of many of their tyres, marked on the sidewall - and those markings matter. If your car calls for an approved tyre, fitting the standard version instead can noticeably change how the car rides and handles. If you are not sure what your car needs, read the sidewall of the tyre you already have or give us the registration and we will work it out for you.
Bridgestone sizes for mainstream saloons, hatchbacks and SUVs are among the ones we hold most often, so a same-day fit is realistic on common fitments. Ring with the size on your sidewall and we will tell you honestly whether it is on the shelf or a next-day order.
We fit Bridgestone on the same equipment and to the same torque settings as everything else we do, with computer balancing on every wheel. Most single-tyre fittings take 20 to 30 minutes and a full set around an hour. There is free parking on site and a waiting area, and we are open Monday to Saturday 8:00am to 6:00pm and Sunday 10:00am to 4:00pm.
We are not tied to any one manufacturer. If Bridgestone is not the right answer for your car, your mileage or your budget, we will say so and show you the alternatives - including quality mid-range options and our safety-checked part worn tyres. Every fitting is backed by our 3-month / 3,000-mile workmanship guarantee.
Worth doing at the same time: if your old tyres wore unevenly, a wheel alignment check will stop the new set going the same way. And if you have picked up a nail rather than worn the tyre out, a puncture repair may be all you need.

Broadly: Turanza for comfort-focused saloons, estates and family cars; Potenza where you want dry grip and sharper steering; Alenza for larger SUVs and 4x4s. Tell us what you drive and how you use it and we will point you at the right one rather than the most expensive one.
Often yes. Manufacturers develop the suspension and stability systems around a specific tyre, so the original fitment usually gives you the ride and handling the car was signed off with. That said, it is not compulsory, and we will happily talk you through the alternatives if budget is the priority.
