The Sailun Range, and Who It Suits

Atrezzo Elite and Atrezzo ZSR are the everyday and performance car tyres, Atrezzo 4 Seasons the snowflake-marked all-season, Ice Blazer the winter range, Terramax the SUV and all-terrain family and Commercio the van tyre. Sailun also owns the Rovelo brand.

Recent designs and a large manufacturing base at a budget price; the EU label for the exact pattern is the honest comparison.

Sailun has moved faster than most Chinese brands towards European standards: its Vietnamese plant was built for export markets, the Atrezzo range was designed around the EU label rather than adapted to it, and the brand now sells into North America in volume. In practice that means a budget tyre with fewer surprises, and we treat the ZSR in particular as a fair recommendation for a hatchback on a budget.

Sailun and the EU Tyre Label

The EU tyre label is the only fair way to judge a budget tyre. Two Sailun patterns in the same size can grade differently on wet grip, and a budget tyre with a C grade can beat an unknown brand's E by a car length in a wet stop. We show you the label for the exact tyre beside the nearest mid-range option and let you decide.

Fitting Sailun Tyres at Ber Street

Sailun reaches us the next working day in most sizes. Call with the size or registration and we will confirm the pattern and a slot.

A Sailun goes on exactly as a Michelin or a part worn does: new valve or TPMS service kit, mounted without touching the rim, balanced on the computer wheel balancer, torqued by hand to the manufacturer's figure and the old tyre disposed of. Budget half an hour for one tyre and about an hour for four, with free parking and somewhere to wait. We are open seven days, 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.

No manufacturer pays us to push its tyres. If a different brand suits your car better than Sailun, or a good part worn makes more sense for an older car, we will tell you and show you the EU labels side by side. Whatever goes on, the fitting carries our 3-month / 3,000-mile workmanship guarantee.

Uneven wear on the outgoing tyres is the car telling you something, usually about alignment or a worn suspension component, and it is cheaper to fix before the new Sailun set starts wearing the same way. And if the damage is a nail or screw in the central tread, our puncture repair may save you the tyre altogether.
