The Westlake Range, and Who It Suits

ZuperEco Z-107 is the everyday car tyre, ZuperAce Z-007 and SA37 the performance patterns, Z-401 the all-season with the snowflake marking, SW608 the winter tyre and the SC301 and H188 the van tyres. Westlake also has SUV and all-terrain patterns under the SL and SU names.

Westlake and Goodride come from the same plants and are often the same tyre under a different name. The EU label is the honest comparison.

Westlake's Z-107 and Z-401 are typical of the better Chinese budget tyres: acceptable wet grip, tolerable noise, keen price. If a Westlake pattern is short, the identical Goodride usually is not. When the Westlake tyres arrive the job takes about an hour for a full set and half that for one: each wheel balanced on the computer balancer, the valve renewed, the nuts torqued to specification and the old tyres taken away. Park free on site. Open seven days, including Sunday 10am to 4pm.
