The Zeetex Range, and Who It Suits

ZT1000 and ZT6000 are the everyday car tyres, HP2000 vfm and HP6000 the performance patterns, ZT8000 4S the snowflake-marked all-season, WP1000 the winter tyre, SU1000 the SUV pattern and CT2000 the van range.

Zeetex's parent, Zafco, is one of the largest tyre distributors in the Gulf, and the brand was built for hot, dry markets before it came to Europe; the European patterns have since been redesigned around wet grip, which is what the EU label tests. We see the ZT1000 most often on small hatchbacks and the CT2000 on second vans, and the ZT8000 4S is one of the cheaper snowflake-marked all-seasons on the market.

Zeetex and the EU Tyre Label

Every tyre sold in the UK, Zeetex included, carries an EU label grading wet grip, rolling resistance and noise, and at the budget end those grades vary more between patterns than between brands. That is why we quote the exact pattern, show you its label, and put a mid-range tyre next to it: the wet-grip column is the one that decides your stopping distance on a wet roundabout.

How Zeetex Fitting Works Here

Fitting Zeetex Tyres at Ber Street

Zeetex arrives for us the next working day in most car sizes, a little longer for some van and SUV sizes. Call with the size and we will confirm.

Fitting is the same careful job whatever the badge: the wheel comes off, the old tyre is stripped, the rim is checked for damage, a new valve goes in, the Zeetex is mounted and balanced, and the wheel goes back on with a calibrated torque wrench rather than an air gun. One tyre takes around half an hour, a set about an hour. Free parking, a waiting area, and we are open seven days a week including Sunday 10am to 4pm.

Ask us straight whether Zeetex is the right choice and you will get a straight answer. Sometimes it is; sometimes a step up or a step down the brand list fits the car and the budget better, and we will show you the label ratings that make the case. All workmanship is guaranteed for 3 months or 3,000 miles.

Ask us to check the geometry when the Zeetex tyres go on if the old ones wore unevenly; a four-wheel alignment is cheaper than a second set of tyres. And bring a nail-in-tyre to us before assuming it is scrap, because a puncture repair is usually possible in the central tread.
