German engineering with a heavy design emphasis on braking - especially in the wet. Supplied and fitted at our Ber Street garage, seven days a week.
Continental engineer around braking, and wet braking in particular. They are also one of the most common original-equipment fitments on German cars, which makes them a natural choice for a lot of what we see on the ramp.
PremiumContact is Continental's main road range for saloons and family cars, SportContact covers the performance end, and AllSeasonContact is the all-weather option. Across the range the design priority is consistent: shorter stopping distances, with wet braking treated as the headline engineering problem rather than an afterthought.
That focus suits British driving. Most of the year the limiting factor on a Norfolk road is not dry grip, it is how quickly the car stops on a wet surface with standing water and a cold tyre. Continental also appear as original equipment on a great many Volkswagen, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz models, so for the German cars we see regularly they are often simply the tyre the car was developed with.
Continental produce manufacturer-approved versions carrying sidewall markings including AO for Audi, MO for Mercedes-Benz and the star for BMW. We check the marking on the tyre coming off before we order the one going on. If you are not sure what your car needs, read the sidewall of the tyre you already have or give us the registration and we will work it out for you.
Continental is a frequent original fitment on German cars, so for a VW, Audi, BMW or Mercedes we will check the sidewall for an approval marking first. Give us the registration and we will confirm the exact specification before ordering.
We fit Continental on the same equipment and to the same torque settings as everything else we do, with computer balancing on every wheel. Most single-tyre fittings take 20 to 30 minutes and a full set around an hour. There is free parking on site and a waiting area, and we are open Monday to Saturday 8:00am to 6:00pm and Sunday 10:00am to 4:00pm.
We are not tied to any one manufacturer. If Continental is not the right answer for your car, your mileage or your budget, we will say so and show you the alternatives - including quality mid-range options and our safety-checked part worn tyres. Every fitting is backed by our 3-month / 3,000-mile workmanship guarantee.
Worth doing at the same time: if your old tyres wore unevenly, a wheel alignment check will stop the new set going the same way. And if you have picked up a nail rather than worn the tyre out, a puncture repair may be all you need.

Wet braking is Continental's central design priority across their road ranges. Tyres carry a tyre label rating wet grip, with A the best, and we will show you the label for the specific tyre before you buy rather than asking you to take the brand claim on trust.
It is usually the safest choice. German manufacturers frequently specify Continental as original equipment and tune the suspension and stability systems around them. If your sidewall carries an AO, MO or star marking, we will source the matching approved version.
Yes - AllSeasonContact is their all-weather range and it carries the three-peak mountain snowflake winter marking. For drivers who would rather not run two sets of tyres, it is a practical single-set answer to a Norfolk winter.
